However, it is the third in the A minor scale, which is the minor version of the C major scale, and the fourth in the Guidonian hand, which begins with G. The C major scale is the most common in Western music. The chromatic scale begins with the C note which is the first note on the C major scale. The romance language equivalents for these notes are: do, re, mi, fa, sol, la, si, with diesis and bemolle denoting sharps and flats respectively. The notes are C, C sharp/D flat, D, D sharp/E flat, E, F, F sharp/G flat, G, G sharp/A flat, A, A sharp/B flat, and B. In Romance languages, they are denoted from Do to Si. Western Musical Notes types start from C to B with five sharps and flats in between. ![]()
